Medical Arts and Humanities

Medical Arts and Humanities is a rising field in Medicine. The need to engage with humanities, arts, culture and sociology is not lost on physicians and the inclusion of medical humanities in many medical degree programmes is a testament to the importance of reflecting on life generally, reflecting on medicine as a human, on all levels and engaging with patients and yourself through poetry, art, and writing.

Here we provide an ever expanding, and by no means complete, list of some suggestions for you to engage with. If you want make a suggestion for the list – hit us up at tsmj@tcd.ie or editor@tsmj.ie
