About the Journal

Aims & Scope

Trinity Women & Gender Minorities Review is a non-profit, student led journal that strives to constitute new knowledge on the orienting concept of gender and how it configures our political sphere, societal structures, creative arts, scientific inquiry and beyond.

Formerly known as 'Trinity Women's Review', we have changed our name to Trinity WGM Review in order to reflect the fact that many communities have been historically excluded from feminist movements and academic research.

Trinity WGM Review advocates for the free availability of knowledge and hence our upcoming issue, Volume V, shall be published as Open Access for the first time on OJS.

We particularly encourage intersectional feminist research from women and gender diverse people.

Review Process

All submissions are initially assessed by an editor, who decides whether articles are suitable for academic review and/or publication. Suitability is assessed in relation to the focus and scope of the journal and the article type.

Suitable articles for review are assigned to a minimum of one reviewer including guest reviewers. Submissions are assessed for their clarity, methodology and validity.

Academic review is strictly anonymous, meaning that reviewers are not known to authors and vice versa.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
