Announcement: 2024 Brendan Walsh Prize
The 2024 Brendan Walsh Prize has been awarded to Karina Doorley (Economic and Social Research Institute), Dora Tuda (Economic and Social Research Institute), Alyvia McTague (Universitat de Barcelona), and Mark Regan (Parliamentary Budget Office, Ireland) for their paper “Childcare in Ireland: Usage, Affordability and Incentives to Work”. The Brendan Walsh Prize was inaugurated in 2018 to select the best paper published in The Economic and Social Review in the previous year. The prize includes €1,000 and a certificate.
